Brians Optik X2 Intermediate Goalie Blocker

New for 2021, Brian’s Custom Sports has released the Intermediate offshore version of the widely popular Brian’s Optik 2 line, the Brian’s Optik X2 Intermediate Goalie Blocker.

Starting off with the face of the Brian’s Optik X2, the graphic features a similar graphic to the domestic Optik 2. With aggressive lines and edges, mixed with strategic polymesh vents, this graphic really stands out.

Looking at the board of the Brian’s Optik X2 Goalie Blocker, you will notice the beveled nose shape that helps cut down the overall weight of the blocker while giving the goaltender a balanced feel. Even with this design, this blocker still has a thick board that sits across the back of the wrist and hand to give the goalie the protection and balance needed to make key saves.

Flipping around to the palm side of the Optik X2, a flared cuff gives the goaltender a wide opening to provide great mobility for blocker projection as well as reduce potential interference with a chest protector. On the wrist, a Velcro strap runs from the side wall across the wrist that helps provide the goaltender with their preferred fit and help stabilize the sidewall to give full control over the unit.

Next, the blocker palm has a reinforced grip material to provide optimal grip while fitting snug to the goaltender’s hand without loosening up. On the sidewall and index finger you will find HD foam sewn around to protect the goalie from pucks riding up the stick.
