New for 2016 from Bauer is the Re-Akt 95 hockey helmet. Offering enhanced protection, fit and comfort this helmet features many great technologies found in other high end Bauer helmets. The two piece shell offers flexibility to adjust the fit for a variety of different head shapes. The tool free adjustment allows quick and easy size adjustments, even on the bench. No need for a screwdriver, the tabs on the side of the helmet fold up on both sides so the shell can be opened or closed. After the helmet has been placed on the head and adjusted to the right size simply snap the tabs back into place for a perfect fit.The molded occipital feature stabilizes the back of the head for improved comfort and fit. A comfort fit suspended liner system and multiple densities of soft, comfortable foam allow for enhanced fit and comfort. The multi-density foam lined includes XRD Foam which manages impact across all energy levels for improved protection. XRD Foam offers extreme impact protection and is found across all high level Bauer Hockey products. The Bauer Re-Akt 95 utilized Seven+ Technology which is a series of structural foam cylinders in key impact zones that helps to manage repeated impacts.The sleek, pro inspired modern design has customizable vents for many different color combinations.
